  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
  • If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
  • Lock the light or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation. Recharge a stored battery every four months to maintain optimal battery performance.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons: A: The battery needs replacing. Solution: Replace battery (Ensure battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s   specifications). B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

Solid light for all uses, not too big

Have been using Fenix lights for work and play and very little issues. The E35 is super bright at full and lights up my whole yard better than larger flashlights. I like the lack of end cap switch as this makes it easy for me to handle one handed with light gloves while walking the hounds. I dropped this one and the side switch started acting odd. Use your lanyard...Fenix is shipping me the needed parts no issues despite my admitted drop. Great Support, thank you. Higher initial price pays off with a great light and great service. Highly recommend as every day walk and carry light.

Good EDC Flashlight

I have both E35 and PD35 and I always have both with me. The E35 is the floodlight version where you can light up an entire area to see everything in front of you for about 120 degrees from side to side, The PD35 is the spotlight version for a more focus beam of a bright solid white light. Having both gives me the options of a wide angle view or a focus view for a long down range reach.

Great EDC light

Bought this due to all the positive reviews. Unless you are a flashlight snob this light is great. I use it for my night stand, city walking, woods walking and some light hiking. Very light in hand, high quality and powerful enough for 99% of people out there!

horrible design

the switch to turn on/off needs to be held for 0.5 seconds. This is ithe most idiotic design. Holding button down for long time should be reserved for rarely used setup functions

As you use the same button for on/off and switching modes, it needs a different functionality to turn it on than it does for the click to change modes. I would guess the preference would be the longer hold to turn on the light as opposed to the slightly longer hold to switch modes.
