The diffuser fits the Fenix PD32 perfectly
I have 2 Fenix E35 flashlights. I bought 2 of these diffuser tips to turn the E35 flashlights into hanging lanterns for camping.
Very visible even when on low.
Caps onto my PD25R perfectly. Would be more satisfying if it snapped into place but doesn't feel like it's going to fall off once on. This is great if you need illumination but not necessarily from a beam of light.
But doesn’t fit the PD35R
Hi Kenneth - not sure why that's not working on the PD35R for you. We recently double checked all of our products and accessories for the compatibility chart and for the compatible accessories tab of the product page, and we just tested it again and it does fit the PD35R.
Bought a pd35 for a Christmas gift for a good friend. Bought him this diffuser to use the light as a lantern. Website says it fits the light I bought. However, when it arrived, it was not listed on the package as a fitting model and does not want to stay on the flashlight. I’m a Fenix fanatic. Have 10+ of their lights in my home. but they let me down on this one.
That's odd. We tested it out and the diffuser definitely fits snugly and snaps down on the PD35s that we tested it on. We checked it on both the V2 and the V3, and it fit snugly on both. I would make sure that the diffuser is pressed down fully onto the head of the light.
Fits great on my E35 flashlight and does exactly what its name says. It diffuses light. It does a great job of providing a very even spread of light in all directions around it, although there is a slight dark spot right where the light is pointing, but that was only visible when I was really looking for anything. For all intents and purposes, at least when paired with the E35 flashlight, you get a flat, even diffused light that is great for all kinds of different tasks. Using the diffuser to help with signalling is also fantastic as the high diffusion of light makes for a very visible device. The friction fit that holds the diffuser to the flashlight is a stepped three "rib"design that has what amount to stops for the different flashlights that fit it. Im not sure how long the friction fit will last before becoming too worn to continue to hold onto the flashlight, and it does hold securely for now, although it is easier to put on and take off now compared to when it was new a month ago. For an accessory that costs less than five dollars, I think its fantastic, and the only real change Id like to see is a spot moulded into the diffuser to attach a lanyard or some other method of attaching it to the flashlight when not in use.
