Intelligent Overheat Protection

The lamp will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 55°C/131°F or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55°C/131°F, the lamp will gradually recall the preset output level.

Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the headlamp is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. When this happens in Low output, the headlamp blinks at Low output of Spot-and-floodlight mode to remind you to timely recharge the battery case.

Headband Assembly

The headband is factory assembled by default.

Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to the required length.

Usage and Maintenance

  • Disassembling the sealed parts can cause damage to the lamp and will void the warranty.
  • Unplug the connecting cable to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
  • Recharge a stored headlamp every four months to maintain the optimum performance of the batteries.
  • The headlamp may flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate due to poor battery level. Please recharge the battery case. If this method doesn't work, please contact the distributor.

HP 35R

This headlamp is like having a supernova on your head. The distance it throws is amazing. By far the best headlamp they have ever built. The webbing in the harness is much improved. The rotary switch could not be easier to use, another big improvement over the old multifunction pushbuttons. Time will tell how it holds up, both of my previous model headlamp battery compartments failed due to plastic fatigue from the spring pressure against the batteries. This one looks much more robust. I love this one so far.
