Does what it's supposed to do!

Works great. Allows me to run my 18650 batteries in a 21700 flashlight! If my flashlight dies at a bad time, I have the ability to scavenge a 18650 from some other device I carry to get the flashlight up and running.

Another Fenix winner. This is a professional tool in a compact form. Tons of light and other features. I am a committee member for our local FIREWISE prevention efforts. This flashlight will be given away as a door prize at our upcoming event. The pitch is to have the PD40R V2, charger, and spare battery in your Bug Out kit.

Convinced me to give a 21700 battery flashlight a try. You can still use your 18650 in the flashlight and use all modes, just won't last nearly as long.
