HM65R

I'm a big fan of the HL55 but sadly it is no longer produced. It was rugged, dependable and the batteries are readily available. I purchased the HM65R as a replacement and if it performs as well or better than the HL55, I'll be very satisfied.

I'm very happy

I'm an industrial mechanic in an iron foundry. It's a dirty place with black sand and dust everywhere. A bright headlight is not a luxury. Two coworkers recommended this light. I'm very glad they did.

Nothing but amazing!!

I got this because I used to help the manager of a trailer park I was living in to work on trailers that he had to almost rebuild the insides, or get calls from tenants who had stopped up commodes or water leaks underneath their trailers, etc, etc.

We got called out at all times of the day and night. One day I bought a headlamp from a big box store. It worked okay, but the light wouldn't last but a few hours and I got tired of it running down just when I needed it most.

I went searching online for something better. There was an awful lot of time I spent comparing all the *GOOD* flashlights and headlamps that are out there that one doesn't see in the big box stores.

I finally bit the bullet on this Fenix headlamp. It was a hard thing for me to do as I live on a disability check and I *MUST* make sure when I spend this kind of money it will pay for itself.

This headlamp has saved us over and over and over working on trailers or under them or whatever!! I could wear it all day long and use whatever brightness I happened to need per work setting and at the end of an 18 hour day it would still have all the power I needed to walk my dog around the long trailer park (about a half mile walk along the tree line). This headlamp is nothing but amazing and I'd black someones eyes if they tried to borrow it without asking me!

Get this headlamp and a spare 3400 battery or three (just to have spares!) and you honestly can't go wrong with this decision. It's well worth it and I'm in the process of saving up to get me two spare 3400 batteries myself.

Super bright on highest settings

I bought this primarily for ice fishing when I'm using my track sled so I can see. The amount of light this puts out its amazing. Loving it!
