* 18650/ 16340 Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Only use quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; but cell damage or short circuiting are potential risks the user assumes.

Battery Replacement

Unscrew the light tail and insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light tail back on.

Battery Level Indication

Each time the light is turned on the indicator in the functional side switch will indicate the battery level and will last for 3 seconds.

  • Green light on: saturated 100% - 85%
  • Green light flashes: sufficient 85% - 50%
  • Red light on: poor 50% - 25%
  • Red light flashes: critical 25% - 1%

Note: This only works with Fenix ARB-L18 series 18650 battery.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used at relatively high modes for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then allow the user to reselect the modes.

Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached. When this happens in Eco output, the battery level indicator blinks red 3 times every 10 minutes to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Note: This only works with Fenix ARB-L18 series 18650 battery.

Usage and Maintenance for the Fenix PD35 V3.0 Flashlight

  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using only a high-quality protected battery.
  • If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery for proper storage.
  • Unscrew the tail cap or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the light's performance as dirty contacts may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
    A: Poor battery level.
Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.
B: The contact or contact point of the battery or flashlight is dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

EDC able pocket rocket LED flashlight

I previously owned a fenix pd36r 1,600 lumen light. And that light does not disappoint on long runtimes and brightness.

I didn’t really need another LED flashlight as that light pretty much fits the bill for all lighting tasks but i started looking into the Fenix pd35 v.3 and wanted to see how the diameter size of the body being smaller than the 21700 battery is downsized to the 18650 sized battery of what the 35 v.3 uses.

I was pleasantly surprised to see it sits comfortably in my front pocket without any chaffing or damaging to the inside of my pocket! The 36 was just a little too big and needed to be holstered or worn in a cargo pocket.

The 35 v3 is also shorter! I got the 3,500mah battery and this light almost seems to run as long as my 36 ! Also, the hotspot is noticeably bright and I can see further with it !

I can see why this light has become Fenixes almost number 1 seller!
Anyone looking for a slightly dimensionally and edc able smaller flashlight with the horsepower of bigger lights, THIS is the 1 to get !!!

Even though the Fenix PD35 V.3 is not in this video I want people to know this flashlight has a brighter hotspot (slightly smaller footprint) than the TK16 V.2 I did the review on. That is how POWERFUL this LED flashlight is. Everything about it will amaze you if you fancy a premium/ utility LED flashlight !
