Came broken on the cable that connects to switch. I glued it back on now it works. Not worth my time and money to send back.
Please note that you could have reached out to our warranty team and they would have replaced that with a new unit.
Does not work out of the box. The connection is not made with the tube / body of the flashlight. I had to take household copper wire, wrap it around the flashlight to make the shape of a circle, and slowly work it into the bottom of the remote switch inside; a total of two c-shaped rounds. Then, the body screwed in would make contact with the inside of the tail cap. With out this copper wire, modification, the body screwed in all the way still would not reach the inside of the tail cap. Using a multimeter, there's no conductivity through the threads, because the threads are painted black.
You mention a PD32UE and needing a modification for that light? I'm not sure what the PD32UE is, to be honest. This is the correct remote switch for the PD32 V2, and if it was not working with that light, I would recommend contacting warranty. Although if you have taken apart the switch and modified, it will have voided the warranty.
I use this on my PD35 V3.0 and it works perfectly. The pressure pad is silent and doesn't require too much force to turn on. My only complaint is the lack of a mode switch which I believe is addressed in the new version (Fenix AER-03 V2.0 Remote Switch). The fit inside my pressure switch mount (Fenix ALG-06 Pressure Switch Mount for M-Lok Rails) is snug enough that it can't fall out, but is easy enough to remove when I want to.
Appears well made. I have not used and have only test fit on rail and connected to PD32 V2.0 to verify operational time will tell
Great product.
