With the light switched on, tap the tail switch to cycle through Low→Med→High.

Battery Replacement

Unscrew the light tail and insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light tailback on.

Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Low output is reached. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will not turn off automatically and will work till the battery runs out completely.

Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.

Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare．
Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp's performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons: A: The battery needs replacing. Solution: Replace battery (Ensure battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications). B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

"Usual high quality Fenix Lighting construction. Good run time with easily replaced alkaline AA battery. Single switch gives easy brightness switching however it does not remember brightness level after switching off - it always starts off at lowest level. "For a 25$ flashlight it does the job. 1. If you need the power of the 160 lumens you are gonna go through a TON of batteries if you use it regularly. 2. I was shocked at the amount of packaging material there was for this little light. Its really disgusting. Everything is non-recyclable. Its like opening Fort Knox for no reason other than to make a small flashlight look more attractive in the store. Between all the booklets, product promotions, and warranty information and all the hard plastic its remarkable. A simple package with a QR code for all the additional information will suffice but that doesn't work for marketing. . . ."

"This flashlight is very small but does everything I need in a compact flashlight. I bought this for when I travel and it will be perfect for that. I like that it has three different light levels. The lowest level is perfect for finding my way in a dark room. The other two levels are good for when I need to see the details in something. The only slight negative is the amount of pressure needed to turn it on and off. I wish I did not have to press as hard."

I carry this flashlight

"I carry this flashlight in my pocket all the time. It is compact and the tail switch doesn't get activated accidentally. I also have the v3. 0 model which is very good as well but I find the tail magnet on that model sticks to my keyrings etc. occasionally. I don't usually have the need to use the magnet much so I find the V2. 0 version to be less annoying in my pocket. The only down side is that the rubber on the tail switch can get damaged and there is no way to replace it."

"Have previously owned the E11 and E12 models,I am pleased that the E12 V2. 0 is as convenient and easy to use as the earlier ones. The clip is a definite plus, and readily adapts the light to cap, belt or pocket. The initial setting is lower in power than that of the E12, but this I like this because it is easier to recover night vision. Overall, a nice upgrade."
