The Fenix UC40 UE Rechargeable Flashlight combines ultra-high intensity with reliable USB charging. Utilizing the latest CREE XM-L2 U2 LED, the UC40 UE produces 960 lumen max output and up to 150 hours runtime with the tailored 3400mAh /3.6V rechargeable Li-ion battery. When needed, the Fenix UC40 UE can be powered by one 18650 Li-ion cell or two CR123A batteries.

"Got this light given to me by a good friend and I'm amazed by the brightness that it can put out. I use my light every day and I charge it every 2 to 3 days. The on off button is difficult to find in the dark . The thing I like about it is that I don't have to worry bout someone grabbing it off of my toolbox at work because they don't know how to turn it on and think it's messed up so they put it back"

"Overall a great flashlight except for these two complaints: first, the USB charging port got damaged and I can't charge any more; second, the ON/OFF button is always difficult to locate, sometimes I actually have to use my helmet light to look for the button. I attempted to contact the customer service few times about the USB port issue, but received no response."

"I have full faith and confidence in this company and flashlight. I received this flashlight as a gift almost two years ago and it is still working strong. The rechargeable battery lasts an incredibly long time and holds a charge for months if not used. Brightness on this model is excellent and the beam focus is just perfect for lighting up objects up to 100 yards with no problem. Construction is very sturdy as my flashlight has been dropped countless times and only suffers some scratches. As a military pilot, this flashlight has been invaluable in lighting up my aircraft at night for pre/post-flight walk around. My only complaint is the ON/OFF button is difficult to find sometimes. Overtime, I have become use to it, but if I hand my flashlight to others they can never seem to find the button. In addition, the button is extremely difficult to find with a gloved hand. The next flashlight I buy will likely be the UC35 which seems to address this issue."

"I had resisted LED flashlights until last Christmas. I didn't like the shade of light they put out, I thought. But, this light instantly changed my mind. It's VERY well built, VERY bright, and awesome in almost every way. I have found the run times to be very agreeable. I have charged it 3 times I think since last Christmas, though I use it all the time, I don't use it for large amounts of time. The high setting will melt your eys, and lights up a HUGE area, way more than I was expecting. 1 complaint; The on/off switch is pretty hard to find in the dark. It blends into the contours of the light. Not an issue if you start in the light, but starting in the dark is tough. A circuit to light up the on button is the light is moved would be cool. Or, even better, make the button stand out, or be distinctly recessed. Either way, I'd so buy another. I will be buying another from this brand, but I may try another model, just to see if it's just as good."

The light gives off more than enough light for me and my guys to safely work at night. I didn't think I'd ever have a need for the strobe, but we had a job to clear some debris at the crest of a major roadway and traffic control was a problem until I used the strobe function. The drivers paid more attention when I started using the strobe. This is an excellent light and I'm waiting to receive my RC40."
