ON/OFF

Press the tail switch gently for momentary-on lighting or until it clicks to activate and lock the PD25. Press again to turn the light off.

Mode Selecting

With the light on, press the side switch to cycle through four different brightness levels from Turbo → Low → Mid → High.

Strobe Mode

Press the side switch and hold it for 0.8 seconds to enter into Strobe mode. When the flashlight is in strobe mode, a single press on the side switch will return the light to general lighting mode.

Intelligent Memory Circuit

The Fenix PD25 memorizes the last brightness level used in the general mode, but it will not remember the strobe mode. The next time you turn the flashlight on, it will activate the last brightness level you selected.

Over-heat Protection

PD25 will accumulate a lot of heat when it is working in Turbo output. To avoid overheating, the flashlight will automatically transfer into the high brightness level by working in Turbo output for over 5 minutes. If the Turbo output is needed continually, just reset it again.

Low-voltage Warning Function

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the PD25 is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level. When this happens in Low output mode, the flashlight blinks three times every five minutes to remind you to replace the battery. Note: The function only works when the light is powered by 16340 rechargeable Li-ion battery. If the voltage of the 16340 battery drops below 3V, this function will be invalid when the light is turned off and then on again.

Battery Replacement

Unscrew the light head to put in the battery with the anode (+) toward the light head, then align the threads and screw the light head back on.

Usage and Maintenance

  • Please don't disassemble the sealed head, doing so can cause damage to the flashlight and will void the warranty.
  • We recommend the use of high quality battery. If the flashlight is not to be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the flashlight could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
  • Unscrew the tail cap one-half turn or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
  • The O-ring may be worn out after using for a long time. If this happens, please replace the O-ring with a new one to keep the flashlight properly sealed against water.
  • Please clean the contacts of your light from time to time, especially if the light flickers or doesn't light up. There may be several reasons for a flickering or not working light: Reason A: The battery needs replacing. Solution: Replace the battery (Please confirm the correct orientation of positive and negative ends). Reason B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with an alcohol soaked cotton swab.

If the above methods don't work, please refer to the warranty policy. Notice: The routine cleaning video can be watched and downloaded through Fenix official website, please click the service channel->“maintenance for light”.

Warning

The PD25 is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage. Avoid shining the light directly into anyone’s eyes.

Spectacular EDC flashlight

I have carried one for years, bought this one when I "lost" the last one and found out I could not live without it. (Lost as in my daughter decided that she needed a flashlight for her job). The variable output, small size and easily rechargeable battery makes this my favorite light

Perfect for EDC

I carry this PD25 daily. It meets my every need as far as concealability and brightness levels. I have the previous generation (Pd20) and still use it as a home backup. If you currently use the Pd20, it's definitely worth upgrading to the PD25.

Most perfect EDC light I've found

It's so small it fits easily in a front pocket and has never gotten in my way. It's simple to operate. The light on turbo is super bright. Adjusting the light level is easy. It will strobe, however making it strobe is a little tough. That because of how tiny this light is. I don't care about that, I want 1 button simplicity and this has that.
My only complaint is the memory feature. I wish I could turn it off. I want this to go on full brightness every time and I'll adjust if I need less. I'd rather not have to reset it to turbo after each use. This is a small complaint about a great light.

Hi Jerrold - with the memory feature, the light WILL come back on at Turbo if that's the level you had it on when you turned it off. The only time that won't happen is if you have disengaged the battery for any reason, such as taking it out to charge it, or just unscrewing the head enough that the battery would disengage. Otherwise, the memory is to have it turn back on at whatever level it was at when you turned it off. (I have a PD25 on my nightstand that was on Turbo when I turned it off and pretty much blinded myself the next time I turned it on and it happened to be the middle of the night and pitch black in the house - I then remembered to have mine on eco when I turned it off for that reason.)
