* ARB-L14-1100U can be directly charged with the USB Type-C charging cable.

Battery Replacement Unscrew the light tail and insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light tail back on.

Charging

  1. Switch off the light and loosen the light tail to take out the ARB-L14-1100U and plug the USB A socket of the charging cable into an electrical outlet, then connect the USB Type-C socket of the charging cable to the battery.
  2. The indicator will display red while charging and will turn blue when fully charged.
  3. Once charging is completed, be sure to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used at relatively high modes for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then allow the user to reselect the modes.

Low-voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below 3V, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until Eco output is reached. When the voltage level is detected lower than 3V in Eco output, then the flashlight blinks 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to timely recharge or replace the battery. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will not turn off automatically and will work till the battery level runs out. Note: This only works with Fenix ARB-L14-1100U rechargeable Li-ion battery and other usable Li-ion batteries.

LD22 V2.0 Usage and Maintenance

  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using only a high-quality protected battery.
  • If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery for proper storage.
  • Unscrew the tail cap or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the light's performance as dirty contacts may cause the light to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons: A: Poor battery level. Solution: Recharge or replace the battery. B: The contact or contact point of the battery or flashlight is dirty. Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Best Flashlight EVER

I ordered a Fenix LD22 v2.0 to replace a previous Fenix version which got lifted (sad face) and which I had been using almost daily. I purchased many Fenix flashlights as my corporate gifts and just recently one of my former (RF Site) engineers mentioned he's been still it -- since 2014! We love this product because it is:
>Slim & compact
>Versatile and easy to use
>Super bright
>The rechargeable battery in new version most appreciated
My only comment is that the old version would stand upright to use as a torch, a useful feature during our frequent power outages here. The new version doesn't stand up in the same way.
Thank you for your wonderful products!

The best light for your everyday job. Couldn't have asked for a better light.

Again...as a loyal Fenix user since the beinging of time dating back to 2006 I have nothing but good experiences with Fenix lights. The LD22 V2 is no exception and it gets the job done for me. Light, durable and powerful enough to get you thru any job and don't forget it fits in your pocket beautifully with the clip with the only down fall is I wish with the double A's it could operate at full mode too but again I purchased 6 additional batteries with it anyways.

Ld22

This is a great light with lots of power for its small form. Buying a second battery and keep it on hand make this light even more powerful cause i never run out of juice.

Long battery life.

Got this light because of the rechargeable battery pack. It's been working great, I haven't had to recharge since the initial charge. My only con for this light is I wish it had a charge port on the lite itself.(you have to remove battery to charge)

Almost Perfect…

The light’s overall form has good ergos- an easy-to-grab shape which longer and thinner than many other Fenix lights. The operating system is simple; the modes are numerous and the Li-ion “2xAA” rechargeable battery seems to hold its power well. Three things to be aware of: the LED has a noticeable green tint in the lowest lumen modes; there is no external battery condition LED (something normally found on most Fenix lights); you must remove the battery from the light body and plug in the USB-A to USB-C cable to a power source to recharge it. These are not impediments to me really liking this “different” Fenix product.
