"I put in a full charged battery but the lantern blinks red and goes to the lowest setting constantly. Ive tried multiple batteries (Fenix rechargeable 18650's), all the batteries work in other lights but not in the lantern. So basically this light is useless."

"Love this CL25R so much, I'm going to buy another one & retire (or not use much) my old Coleman Northstar propane lanterns for car camping. Tired of replacing expensive broken mantles & buying expensive propane bottles. Started out looking for an upgrade to my Black Diamond Orbit lantern for backpacking and everyday use that was brighter, compact, with longlasting power. Standardizing my lights around 18650 rechargeables and so the CL25R caught my attention. This lantern is incredibly bright for its size, great for group camping. I love that it has a red light (to keep the bugs uninterested), is directly rechargeable thru microUSB (leave battery in), has a tripod & magnet mount in addition to the hanging ring. . . . I use them all. Great performance, great features, great value and the first LED lantern that has convinced me to switch from propane lanterns."

"Asked for this lantern for Father's Day from my kids. This is my second Fenix light and I'm equally impressed with it as well. Took it camping on a large family outing. When the power to the campground went out, I used the lantern hung from a tree to light up the dining area for the crowd of 27. Everyone was impressed with the size and power of this light. It was used every evening for 4 days at medium power for at least 4 hours a day, and still hasn't needed to be recharged. Awesome product."
Wonderful product that functions
"Wonderful product that functions as designed. Being a compact flashlight freak (my wife's term) the CL25R hits all of the bull eyes I'm looking for in a compact light: extremely powerful but offers different levels of brightness all the way down similar to a tent candle , ruggedness, waterproof, powerful magnetic base, low battery indicator, USB rechargeable, D Ring for attachment, rechargeable, simple power switch, Li-ion battery. . . I've had many compact lights over the years but this is by far my go-to light. I hang it in my tent for a nightlight, run it up a ridgeline for a overall camp light, the powerful magnetic base allows me to use it for working on vehicles (from any position), great flood light on my sailboat at night, emergency light at home for power outage, . . . and on and on. . It has even replaced my prior favorite compact light for travel, as its so small and unassuming, I just toss it in my overnight pack. . . . There is no better compact light out there. Highly recommended. Get one. You will be glad you did."
I cant stop buying
"I can't stop buying Fenix Products. I got this lamp during the November 2016 cyber sale. Being in tornado alley it was perfect for my storm shelter. While waiting for this years storm season to roll in, I started to use it in my safe as the Velcro attached battery operated lights in the top of the safe were crap and had to go in the trash. With the magnetic base, I can stick the lantern on my safe and light up everything I need access to. Once these go on a members deal I'll be snagging several more lanterns. Although a niche market, Fenix please develop some proper lighting for use in a safe. Whatever you come up with has to be better than whats on the market now."
Great light! I take
"Great light! I take it everywhere with me. I think I need a second just to leave in my truck. I have been using it as a task light while I restore an old chevy truck. It is great because I can use the magnet to stick it just about anywhere and adjust the light. I have taken it fishing and hunting. It hangs great from my hammock cover line. Sometimes the 360 degree lighting doesn't work because it shines back in my face, I use tape to cover about 90-180 degrees. Would be a nice feature if it were built-in."

"I love this light. I have lights that range from $10 to $500. This is hands down my most used/favorite. I use it every night as a bedside lamp. It offers the perfect amount of light for me, while not waking up others. I have had it for over a year and it is still working flawlessly."
