I will only ever buy AA or AAA flashlights. This is an awesome light for keeping on your back pack shoulder strap. The adjustable light is key to its function. Unfortunately, FENIX discontinued this model and seems to moving more and more to USB rechargeable lights, as such, I used to always recommedn Fenix lights but lately have been trying alternative that still support AA or AAA and have features such as this adjustable angle light. The USB angle replacement isn't even adjustable. With the adjustability you can hike hands free with this on teh shoulder strap, just angle the beam where you want it to shine.

I love this little light with the bright light. I use this one almost every day during the winter months. I Geocache either before work or after work and it is pretty dark during those months. Wen I don't want to be seen, I just reduce the beam or turn it up when I need to look in dark spaces. Great Every day light. I just need to get a rechargeable battery for it.

I have owned 2 of these lights for about 6 years. They are the best ever.
They have had a tough time and are battered, but work as good as new.
I should have bought a few more.
One at my computer desk, Cordless Drill box, Tool box, Van, Bedroom.
Excellent.

I've been using this flashlight for few years and satisfied with the functions and performance. It's bright enough for many purposes including fishing, camping, and vehicle maintenance. Also the battery life is quite long considering it takes only one AA battery. The adjustable head is very useful to change the direction of light.

Tip: I've glued 20x3mm coin magnet under the battery cap so that it can be attached on any steel surface like car panel or garage shelf.

Cons: One design flaw is the diffuser. It won't fit into the lens perfectly.

Overall very well made torch. Recommended.

Having bought a few LED torches over the last few years, the MC11 has become my favourite during the past 12 months.

It's the most useful torch in my collection, and it's the one that gets the most use. It's small, light, clips and fastens to most things. The fantastic adjustable 90 degree head sets it apart from virtually every other torch on the market. Allowing it to be positioned to shine in pretty much any direction you like... as a work light, or attached to my rug sac's shoulder straps when returning late from a walk in the countryside.

A single rubber press button switch on top controls low, medium & high light settings (which are excellent) and is beautifully simple and reliable to use. It runs off a single AA battery, fine for a 1-2 hour walk in the dark on medium setting, with a useful 20 odd meters of light on high setting when necessary. If you need to use it for longer, just take an extra battery with you, or, use it on low setting, which is adequate for paths you know - it's also a great setting for closeup reading without blinding you.

For me, the MC11 is pretty much the perfect balance of function and practicality, and it's excellent value for money.
