Product Overview

The Fenix RC05 SE (Special Edition) rechargeable flashlight is built off the popular Fenix RC05. This special edition adds a tactical rear switch for on/off and momentary use. By adding the rear switch it transforms the light into our more popular two switch system, allowing the user to turn on from the rear switch and choose mode from side switch. All the other attractive features of the RC05 were kept like the innovative magnetic charging port. From a single 14500 rechargeable Li-ion battery (included), this flashlight emits a maximum 300 lumens a distance of almost 300 feet.
This compact flashlight is very small and light weight, and its two-position clip allows you to easily clip it to your gear or onto your hat for hands-free use. The IP68 rating, which means it is both waterproof to 2m and dust proof, allows you to have light even in the harshest of environments. Small, lightweight and rechargeable, the Fenix RC05SE rechargeable flashlight will be your go-to flashlight for camping, backpacking or everyday use.

Great light!

I use this light at work to preflight aircraft. The light is bright and the different power settings let me conserve battery if needed. I love the rechargeable battery as I was going through a ton of batteries. The charge lasts for hours and I appreciate that it switches to dim mode when the battery gets low so I know to charge it before it completely dies.

This thing works great. Got to use it at the wildland fires and it lit up good never losing its charge. I really like the fact that it fits in a small flashlight holster.

Bought it for my son. He uses it at work laying industrial sewer line. He's underground a little bit. He really likes the light. Says it's holding up.

My RCO5 would somehow get turned on in my pants pocket. I would notice it when it got hot. The tailswitch on the RCO5 SE prevents this problem.

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned, and I have had hundreds of flashlights. I wish the lowest setting was a tiny bit lower on the lumens. The battery that came with the light went bad very quickly, I would charge the battery and then when I turned it on the light would automatically drop to the lowest light setting. I bought another more reliable battery and haven't had issues. If you're having troubles charging it's most likely user error, you need to connect to the magnet and then turn the flashlight on with the tail cap button. The charging light should be on if done right.
