$52.00 $39.95

The LD05 V2.0 is a super compact penlight that is must-have for medical workers, police officers or every day carry (EDC). This is one of the best penlights out there, featuring three brightness levels of very warm 3000K white light from the 90 CRI Cree XQ-E HI warm white LED, plus a 365nm UV light; both of which are operated by the stainless steel tail switch. Powered by two included AAA batteries, this light delivers a maximum output of 100 lumens (which qualifies it for medical or certificates inspection). The UV light is great for counterfeit currency detection. Waterproof, dustproof and extremely durable the LD05 V2.0 will be your favorite penlight.

  • Cree XQ-E HI LED (90-CRI/ 3000K), with lifespan of 50,000 hours
  • Fitted with 365nm UV LED
  • Powered by two AAA batteries
  • Digitally regulated output maintains constant brightness

Fully press the tail switch of the penlight to turn on/off the light.

Output Selection
With the penlight switched on, tap the tail switch to cycle through Low→Med→High→UV.

Battery Replacement
Unscrew the head to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the light head back on.

Intelligent Memory Circuit
The light memorizes the last selected brightness level. When turned on again the previously used brightness level will be recalled.

Time-limited Downshift
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on High output level for extended periods. When the light has been used on High for 3 minutes, the light will automatically step down by a few lumens until 60 lumens is reached to reduce the temperature. High mode can be reselected.

Usage and Maintenance

  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using excellent quality batteries.
  • Fenix strongly recommends using high-performance Ni-MH rechargeable batteries to get the most out of this light. Alkaline batteries will reduce the runtime relatively.
  • If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp’s performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:

A: The battery needs replacing.
Solution: Replace battery (Ensure battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications).

B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don’t work, please contact your authorized distributor.

It’s not as good as version 1 of the LD05 if you ask me. It desperately needs the option for a cool white LED.

What i like about the LD05’s in they are slim, and slide in the side of a bag perfectly.

Fenix, make a cool white version of the LD05, please!

Great pen light for everyday carry. I probably have 5 Fenix flashlights. Obviously not as bright as some of my others but since i always have it, it gets used the most. Love the solid steel feel of it.

This is the second Fenix I have owned. My first is the PD35. This penlight is great for me for at night or on projects. I use it to inspect my tires on my bicycle and other projects. I do like the weight and the warm light. Customer for life.

Perfect for EDC. The sleek design allows me to carry in my pocket without feeling annoyed or bulky. The different settings are useful for simple tasks like a quick search under a car seat to camping out where it can get extremely dark. An awesome product!

It’s a great design, functions well, seems very durable. I’d like to see it in a bright white light model as well.

I’m in Dermatology and I really tried to like this light, but can’t. It seems like the special color temperature should be perfect, but in fact it’s so “natural” that the skin just absorbs the light and it ends up being too dim. Battery life is dismal. UV setting is so low it’s useless. Within a few weeks of use the pocket clip and tail cap jiggles about like a cheap Chinese special. The light is so bad that I’ve gone back to my $19 Pelican penlight.

Love the light. Has a quality switch compared to other brands. Only gripe is that while it has a strong pocket clip, the clip has no upturn on it to facilitate clipping on the shirt pocket. Difficult to clip on pocket and will eventually wear the pocket fabric. Adding an upturn to the end of the clip to make sliding onto the pocket easier will result in a top score

Not quite as bright as I was hoping for. The UV light is barely visible even under the darkest of conditions.

I bought this to have a slim flashlight to clip in a pocket of my work Dockers. Unfortunately, the tail click button is too sensitive and this thing comes on way too frequently. Batteries were dead in a couple days, when I didn’t actually get to use it.

As for the flashlight functionality, the white light is useable and very warm in color. The UV was just a toy for me, but it is very dim (I wasn’t sure what to expect) and I really don’t have a use for it.

I’m not a fan of the warm led light but everyone is going to them . I understand the tactical advantage of them . This is a great little edc light that has a useful up light built in good to charge u watch face or check for nasty stuff on u work area or track a wounded deer works good .

I’m a TV broadcast engineer and am behind equipment racks often and this light is very handy at illuminating cable labels and connections. I had an issue with the clip being too loose and they sent me out a replacement right away.

This light works great in an EMS setting (I’m a medic). Just one small hitch (and many lights have this problem, it will turn on in my pocket if something hits the top. I carry in a pen slot in my cargo pocket. I would love it if they figured out a way to have a safety on it. Then it would be perfect.

Oh, the color of the LED is awesome, you won’t know it’s not incandescent.

I’m a practicing RN with 40+ years in OR, ER and, as of late, Disaster with the Red Cross. This is a very nice unit that provides a narrow focused, high output beam for walking around wards or shelters without waking everyone and a low output beam that is sufficiently low to check pupils or a “finger stick” blood glucose with blinding the patient or yourself. The middle beam is nicely appropriately for a general exam but my HL60R headlight – which leaves both hands free – is more suitable for that, though it is not as handy. Tucked into a blood work/IV “rubber band” tourniquet wrapped around you head, it turns into a headlight of sorts. Its size, shape and weight insures that it is always with you. I bought a few under the principal, “One is none and two is one,” though, I must say, after using Fenix products, sometimes hard, for a few years, I have yet to have anything fail. Oh, and the UV setting is just the thing to check the stacks of $100 bills I get paid in.

I have been waiting for a light like this for 10 years, and had actually contacted a different company 5 years ago, to ask if they could design a light with these exact specs.
I was previously using a 4 sevens titanium preon 2.
This is a perfect medical penlight.
Specifically the UV light function at 365nm, which is the same wavelength as a Wood’s Lamp.

If you make a titanium version I would gladly buy it.
