Only used for a week or so, and it’s only ok. Switched all my lights (headlamp, bike headlight, bike taillight) to Fenix products. Thoughts:
+ One, simple, responsive button for all functions.
+ USB-C charging (even C2C, which a lot of manufacturers apparently fail to implement)
+ Perfect set of options (flashing for daytime, dim to extremely bright). No flashing or colors or other fluff to needlessly cycle through.
+ low price. But would prefer spending ~$50 to remove cons below.
+ / – Fairly bright, but only 5 LEDs and no internal reflector so it’s large area of light. I would feel safer if there was a larger area like the Magicshine, or much brighter like the Cygolite Hotrod 50.
– no side visibility
– mount options aren’t great for my needs. There’s a silicone strap that takes a while to add/remove if you take it off at every destination like me. Then there’s a plastic clip which may secure to a pannier/backpack strap, but nowhere else. Would like something that secure to bike like the Fenix frontlight
– silicone flap for charge port. Silicone flaps I’ve had on other lights have ripped off after 2 years. Also they don’t have a positive feel when closing. You have to kinda squish it around to seat it properly. so it’s more likely to not close and get water in it.
– integrated battery so can’t replace battery. I understand why though. 21700 batteries alone are $26, and this light is only $20.
– does not remember your light setting when turned off/on like other Fenix lights
– plastic doesn’t feel as nice as other Fenix lights with metal

Back charging rubber cover broke off right out of package. Seem dry rotted. Besides that I love the bicycle taillight. I affix it to my backpack.

I’ve asked warranty to reach out to you to see what is going on with that.
