PD35 – Best Most Reliable Light I’ve Purchased!

I live in the California desert where we don’t have many streetlights, the lack of streetlights makes for very dark nights and great stargazing. Two of the drawbacks is that the lack of streetlights makes it almost impossible to find addresses and spot coyotes on the golf course when walking the dogs at night.

I’ve had my PD35 for almost a year now, without a doubt it’s the best most durable light I’ve purchased. This light is kickass, it’s been dropped several times, unlike Maglight the bulb and lens has never shattered, unlike Streamlight, the battery holds a great charge allowing be to go just over a month between charges with everyday use at 150-350 lumens. Check out the attached photo, full thousand lumen lighting up the street from one end to thee other (approximately .04 miles). None of my other lights were capable of this, half the time I was lucky to get light a few feet in front of me.

You’ll be hard pressed to find an every day carry flashlight that throws up to 1,000 lumens, most of the small compact flashlights similar in size to the PD35 top out at 684.

Looking forward to getting my hands on the new 1,600 lumen PD36! If my LEO buddies are jealous of the PD35 they’re going to be drooling over the 1,600 lumen PD36. Look for that review once I have the chance to put it through its paces.
