Battery Instructions
Type | Cell Specifications | Nominal Voltage | Nominal Power | Remarks |
Rechargeable Battery Stick (Li-ion) | 46950 | 3.6 V | 115.2 W | The battery cell and the flashlight body are integrated and cannot be disassembled |

Charging
- Turn off the flashlight, unscrew the hidden charging port at the tail, insert the charging cable's Type-C connector into the flashlight's charging port, insert the other end of the charging cable into the adapter and power it on.
- After the flashlight receives a charging signal, the OLED screen automatically lights up to display the current battery percentage and a charging status icon. Ten green lights light up incrementally to indicate charging. When both Type-C ports are charging at full power, the time from nearly depleted to fully charged is approximately 3 hours.
- The Type-C port supports PD3.0, PD2.0, and all other current mainstream fast-charging protocols.
- When charging, make sure a battery is installed in the flashlight before connecting the charging cable to the flashlight; do not connect the charging cable when the inside of the flashlight is empty.
- Power specifications:
Orange Type-C Port
Supports fast charging: Yes;
Charging voltage: 15 V;
Charging power: 45 W (15 V / 3 A)
Black Type-C Port
Supports fast charging: Yes;
Charging voltage: 12 V;
Charging power: 18 W (9 V / 2 A)
Supports PD3.0, QC2.0 and other fast-charging adapters or standard 5 V adapters. Only use a certified USB charging adapter that complies with the government safety standards of the country or region where this product is sold.
Power Bank Function
- Turn off the flashlight, unscrew the tail to open the hidden charging port, insert the charging cable's Type-C plug into the flashlight's discharge port, and insert the other end of the charging cable into the charging port of the electronic device that needs to be charged.
- When discharging, the OLED screen automatically lights up to display the current battery percentage and discharge status icons, 10 green lights light up in a decreasing sequence to indicate discharging.
- After discharge is complete, unplug the charging cable, tighten the tail until it reaches the stop to hide the port.
- Compatible fast-discharge protocols: PD, QC, etc.
Remarks:
- While the flashlight is charging or discharging, all modes support turning on and stepless brightness regulation; the maximum allowed output for white light is approximately 900 lumens; red light and red flash have no output limit; UV light is lighted up at a fixed output.
- When discharging, turn on the flashlight. When the battery level falls below 5%, the maximum allowed white-light output is 100 lumens, and when the battery voltage drops below 2.8 V, discharge will stop and the device will shut down forcibly.
Battery Level Indication
OLED smart display screen
When the flashlight is turned on, the OLED smart display automatically lights up, showing the remaining battery percentage, the current lumen value*, and the runtime for the current mode, and remains continuously lit.
Remarks:
When the battery level falls below 5%, the OLED smart display will flash the low battery icon across the entire screen to indicate low power, and except UV light, the output of all modes is limited to 50 lumens in Spotlight mode, with the SOS mode flashing at 50 lumens.
*The displayed output is the output of the current level; actual output during use may be reduced due to intelligent overheat protection.
Tail battery level indicator
Single click the tail electronic switch; the 10 green battery level indicators will show the remaining battery level and will turn off after 3 seconds. If the electronic switch is single clicked again within 3 seconds, the battery level display will be turned off.
10 lights on: 100% - 90%; 9 lights on: 90% - 80%; 8 lights on: 80% - 70%;
7 lights on:70% - 60%; 6 lights on: 60% - 50%; 5 lights on: 50% - 40%;
4 lights on: 40% - 30%; 3 lights on: 30% - 20%; 2 lights on: 20% - 10%;
1 light on: below 10%.
Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. When this happens in the lowest output, the battery icon on the OLED smart display will keep flashing until the battery runs out, or one of the tail battery level indicator will automatically light up and keep blinking until the battery runs out to remind users to recharge the battery in a timely manner.
Proximity Sensor with Intelligent Brightness Downshift Function
On/Off
With the light locked, press and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds, and the flashlight will blink twice in Floodlight mode at Low (50 lumens), indicating this function is enabled.
With the light locked, press and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds; the flashlight will blink 8 times in Floodlight mode at Low (50 lumens), indicating this function is turned off.
Intelligent Sensing Downshift
When the light head is close to an illuminated object (about 2.36''/60 mm) for more than 1.5 seconds, the flashlight will automatically downshift to 50 lumens to avoid potential danger/burns caused by high temperatures. When the light head is away from the illuminated object for more than 0.8 seconds, the flashlight gradually recalls the previously used brightness level.
Intelligent Overheat Protection
The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the flashlight reaches a temperature of 65 °C/149 °F, or above, it will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65 °C/149 °F, the flashlight will gradually recall the preset output level.
Usage and Maintenance
- Disassembling the sealed components of the flashlight can cause damage to the flashlight and will void the warranty.
- Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
- If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the flashlight could be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
- Rotate the toggle switch to the stop position, unscrew the light tail half a turn, or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
- Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the O-ring with an approved spare.
- Periodic cleaning of the flashlight and battery contacts improves the flashlight's performance as dirty contacts may cause the flashlight to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
A: The flashlight is locked.
Solution: Rotate the toggle switch clockwise to unlock and turn on the flashlight.
B: Poor battery level.
Solution: Recharge or replace the battery stick.
C: The contact or contact point of the battery or the flashlight is dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Warning: Ultraviolet (UV) Radiation Hazard
- This flashlight emits ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which may cause damage to eyes and skin.
- UV light is generally invisible to the human eye. Improper use may result in unintended exposure.
- Do not look directly at the UV-LED or its beam during operation. Avoid shining the flashlight directly at people, animals, or exposed skin.
- Caution: UV radiation reflects off surfaces (e.g., mirrors, metal), increasing the risk of accidental exposure.
- Be aware that objects and liquids you shine on may redirect or reflect the light beam, depending on the kind of surface they have.
- When used in close proximity to objects, reflected UV radiation is stronger and more intense than at a distance of several meters.
- Do not use optical lenses to focus the light beam within its emission cone.
- Always wear certified UV-protective goggles and skin protection during use to avoid eye and skin damage. Also avoid prolonged exposure of skin or other living tissue.
- Restrict usage of UV light to professional applications only. Always turn off the flashlight and store it securely after use.
