I purchased the rechargeable battery, actually got 2, so to have greater run time & have to purchase fewer batteries. These will pay for themselves in just a few months.

Battery arrived charged, but I was disappointed that it did not include a USB charging cord. It would have been nice to know that this important piece of equipment was missing...

I've been using 2 of them in my garmin etrex10 for a year. No problems and they're reliable. Preferred over nimh rechargables.
