First one I purchased
"First one I purchased works great, unfortunately, shortly after sending in one of the two GL19R lights for repair that this switch is used on, I discovered that they discontinued the light. They sent me a GL19R Ver2, and it's different in several ways, and the differences make it not what I wanted. Also, the switch does not work with the replacement light. I was only using the switch on the light I had on a shotgun, and the other light was on a Glock21SF. So, I purchased this 2nd. switch as a backup because I'm guessing that I won't be able to find a switch later since they will probably be discontinued as well. I also purchased another ""original style"" (version 1) GL19R from Amazon, because I did not like the Version 2 light at all for use on a handgun, and since I can't use the remote switch on it, I don't want it on my shotgun, (that option would have worked for me, but unfortunately Fenix did not design the replacement light to use the same switch, which was odd and really bites). Original GL19R was excellent (especially on full sized Glocks) GL19R version 2, it's a failure in my opinion, and not at all a replacement for the version 1. Don't like the switch design Don't like the dimensions, (it's too long for the Glocks in my opinion, especially when compared to the version 1) Don't like the lack of dual power settings, it only has one. Don't like that it does not have a remote switch/ability to use the version 1 switch."
