I have used this light mount on my Trek Police patrol bike (hard tail, 100mm travel fork) for a few months. Initial reviews are mixed.

3 stars on the design. It's bulky and takes up a good amount of space on the bar.
4 stars on functionality. It holds the light well and stays in place on the bar even in rough riding (down stairs, up stairs, etc). Can adapt to numerous sizes of flash lights, which is a nice feature.
Overall, 4 star rating. Perhaps future designs could incorporate a quick release feature instead of a thumb screw tightener. I am not an engineer so the bulkiness may be for durability, but I'd like to see it shaved down a bit. For $20 or less though, it's hard to beat the mount.
