These batteries are LONG lasting; I carry my flashlight on duty daily and depend on it to perform. It is absolutely one of the best flashlights I've owned. It is powered by a single L1-2600 battery- the original battery is still going strong after almost 2 years. I bought two more batteries as I am starting to use the flashlight as a weapons light in addition to my EDC flashlight for protective services.
