  1. 4 out of 5

    (verified owner):

Been using this light in LE for the past couple months. No complaints. I use a rechargeable NiMh battery. Battery life is exceptional and output is excellent. The only reason for 4 stars – the rubber push button exceeds the metal tail switch protectors…meaning it’s unstable when trying to use like a candle, (a minor flaw in design). Overall though, excellent.

  2. 5 out of 5

    :

Just the right size for clipping on your jeans pocket for EDC, nice color, exceptional battery life. Medium power is more than enough for 97% of my needs, yet still runs cool. Lack of pulse width modulation (strobing) & regulated output are icing on the cake… 5 stars all the way!

  3. 4 out of 5

    (verified owner):

Well built light. Nice throw distance. Works great on 14500 or AA batteries. Strange user interface with the switch. Beam Color a plus. A little clunky in the switch but solid and durable, nice light.

  • Fenix 14500 battery is the AA size Li-Ion rechargeable battery that has two variations. The ARB-L14-800 battery is 3.6 Volt that is designed for the Fenix LD09, E25 Ultimate Edition, HL35, RC05 models in order to drive the light to new heights in their Turbo Mode. The ARB-L14-1600U built-in USB rechargeable battery is 1.5 Volt, designed to be a rechargeable alternative to a standard AA battery. However, the 1.5 Volt will not allow you to reach Turbo Mode in the models perfused before. This battery is quickly charged via micro-USB charging port, no need to carry a separate charger.

    Important Note:

    •  The 1600U is not a 3.6 or 3.7 volt battery. It is a 1.5 volt.
    • Charging Current: Only charge using USB cable to USB port on battery. Do not charge by other device.
