Being able to use all the modes with a red filter is HUGE for me. I got tired of having only low red options, and having to blast my white light to see anything farther than a couple of feet. This in combo with my UC35 v2 is exactly what I need. Now if a short leash was included I would not be worried about misplacing it when I’m not using it. Solid build, quality light source, tight fit on the flashlight.

Good piece of kit. Went to green years back, after finding it works very well in thick close cover, on low settings it is very hard to discern from any distance but within 10 feet at night. Reading maps is easier also over red, on 5-8 lumens, it is perfect for recognizing ground features, while giving those behind and in front on the trail excellent aid in seeing the terrain features as we all move in line.
I find green suits my eyes very well over red or blue, makes using my Trijicon Reflex sight reticule stand out at night too when running the weapons light on higher outputs for target designation/recognition. Machined a delrin mount that retains the filter, mounts to a protected spot on the stock, ready for use when needed.
