Charging the TK26R Tactical Flashlight

  1. First switch off the light and plug the USB A socket of the charging cable into an electrical outlet, then connect the USB Type-C socket of the charging cable to the light.
  2. The indicator will display red while charging, and will turn to green when fully charged.
  3. Once charging is completed, be sure to close the anti-dust cover. (The light features inner waterproofing treatment, thus the performance won’t compromise even if there is water in the charging port ).

  1. The normal charging time of the included Fenix ARB-L18-3500 rechargeable Li-ion battery is approximately 3 hours from depletion to full charging.
  2. Recharge a stored light every four months to maintain optimum performance of the battery.
  3. Low output can be turned on/off by functional side switch while charging. There will be no response upon operation of tail switches while charging. If the tactical tail switch is mistakenly operated during charging process, then unplug the charging cable and press the tactical tail switch to begin charging again.

Intelligent Protection

The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on Turbo output level for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 65°C or above, the light will automatically step down by a few lumens to reduce temperature. When the temperature is reduced, the output will gradually return to Turbo.

Usage and Maintenance

  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
  • If the light will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the light could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
  • Li-ion battery needs to be charged even if the battery is not exhausted, charge immediately when the battery is exhausted; it has no memory effect.
  • Unscrew the tail cap half a turn or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp’s performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:A: The battery needs replacing.
Solution: Replace battery (Ensure battery is inserted according to the manufacturer’s specifications).B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don’t work, please contact your authorized distributor.

  1. This flashlight is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage to the user or others. Avoid shining the flashlight directly into anyone’s eyes.

I usually buy surefire illumination tools but since there lacking severely in the innovation department so I gave this one a try. Got the Fenix TK26R at scheels for 126.00 including wis. state tax. It’s a great light, very bright (1500 lumens turbo mode) with amazing runtimes! I definitely like all the lighting modes including the red and green options and the usb c charge port! 5 stars for me. I will definitely be a returning customer for this brand in the near future.

Well built and easy to use. Very bright with perfect amount of spill. Fenix must have spoken to police officers when designing this one. I purchased it for the brightness and the dedicated strobe button. Very happy with it.

The "TK" series of Fenix lights are by far my personal favorite. I lean towards this series because of their build quality. All of Fenix's lights are built tough, in my opinion, but the TK line is just a cut above them all. I bought the TK26R as an emergency preparedness light to keep in the family car. I liked the red/green options which are great to use in an emergency if stuck on the side of the road. I just recently picked up the Fenix AOT-02 traffic wand to complete the kit. The traffic wand makes a huge difference if you plan on using the light for signaling. It's a real treat to use while using the red/green colors that are built into the TK26R side switch. I feel like I should be directing airplanes on a runway with this thing! The beam pattern is nice and definitely reaches out a little further than my Fenix PD36R. The TK26R is one of those lights that can serve many purposes and is built to last! It's tough as nails.

Love this light! Beautiful focused white light with just enough spill for walking. Both red and green lamps with plenty of brightness for walking in the dark and not walking up on disgruntled critter.

LOVE the memory option on the previous light brightness.
Separate button for strobe is great also. Run through the light a couple times and you have it’s functions down. Very rugged.
