Difference #1 - Operating Modes

PD35 TAC
Tactical
 – Operates Turbo, Low and Strobe via the tail cap switch. The side switch is deactivated.

Outdoor – Operates all modes via the side switch. Tail cap is for on/off and momentary on.

PD35 v2.0
Standard – Operates all modes via the side switch. Tail cap is for on/off and momentary on.

Difference #2 - Battery Level

PD35TAC
Low Voltage Indicator – Blinks three times every five minutes when the battery is very low and needs replacing.

PD35 v2.0
Battery Level Indicator – Each time the light turns on, a color indicator light appears for 5 seconds on the side switch. Green = full, Green flash = sufficient, Red = poor, Red flash = critical.
