I've been looking for a good headlamp for a long.. Long time. I have purchased at least 7 different types of headlamps. When I saw this one from fenix, I thought I would give this one a try. WOW . Was I surprised at the brightness on the high setting. And it has a very good light spread ( flood light). There is a bright light in the center and it gradually spreads evenally in all directions. And there are no dark rings or distortion in any of the light pattern. This is the BEST headlight that I have ever had. I'm seriously thinking about getting another one for backup. If your thinking about getting a good headlamp, you will be very happy with this one. I am one happy customer. Thanks Fenix for a good product.

Very nice head torch. Light, solidly built, good range of output power on the white LED, and very useful red LED too for protecting night vision. The smooth light pattern is excellent, means you don't have to turn head to see peripheral objects. The aluminium alloy section probably helps to dissipate heat from the white LED, which will help to maximize output.
