I work midnight shift
"I work midnight shift at a water plant and this is the first flashlight I've owned to survive long enough to celebrate it's first birthday in use. I have been buying flashlights in the $100-200 range for the last decade. The longest prior survival was 9 months. My TK47UE is now past 20 months with no failures. And it's constantly getting wet, exposed to caustic and acidic chemicals, dropped, slammed around, and even occasional use as a light duty hammer. Glass lens is not only unbroken, but unscratched as far as I can tell. Switch still works flawlessly, although I do wish there was a bit more difference between long press for off and longer for strobe. The tail light is the biggest benefit for me just walking around doing my duties since the plant is outside with few lights once away from buildings. . I like it so much that I am getting another just in case this one breaks, although the way it's going that may be money wasted on something that's never needed because this one is still going strong."
