My brother bought for me the TK 15. Probably the first TK 15 serie ever made.
I loved it due to the momentary switch ON/OFF, the brightness memory and the powerful 300+ lumens max output.
Until today, after so many uses in many different conditions, the light just does not quit.
Frankly, I have never service the light, not even cleaned the battery contact or even lubricate the rings.
And the spare switch cap is still brand new!
Thanks Fenix, even with so many lights offering so many options these days, I still find the TK 15 continue to be just awesome.
    Great job!

Love the light (original tk15 from 2012) but on/off doesn’t work with 18650s. I hand to cinch the cap on TIGHT to get the light to turn on. It cycles through the different modes fine, but having to twist hard every time to turn it in or off sucks.

This review is for the original TK15 and not the TK15C. The TK15C works absolutely fine with 18650 batteries along with all the additional features.

    Love it works great!!

Exceptional build quality which you can feel the first time you touch it.
Also, I find it great that Fenix line of lights come with much more accessory’s then competitors at a fraction of the cost of most.

,This light is crazy bright and tough and for the price it is exceptional value.

Buy the best the first time!!

    Thanks Fenix

I have the TK15, not the TK15C. Im a volunteer firefighter and this is a great light for carrying in my turnout gear as well as for everyday carry. I love that it has a clip to clip on to pretty much whatever you want to clip it to. I originally had a Surefire 6P. It was the original. That sucker only had one mode and it was BRIGHT. I burned through batteries that way. I ended switching to the TK15 and i absolutely love that is has 4 modes. That way, i can conserve batteries. Definitely worth every bit of $80

I actually have the original TK15 not the TK15C. I LOVE IT!! I originally had the TK22 which was attached to my AR but it was was too big, so I put this guy on it. It works great!! This paired with the remote switch on an AR makes it ideal for home defense or night shooting. Great quality for a fraction of the price you would pay for one of the other bigger names.

Pros: Value, quality, durability, and compatible with the rechargeable 18650 batteries (a must have for these flashlights).

Cons: Awkward to hit the side button to access strobe mode (especially on the far end of a rail on an AR), too long of a delay for strobe to activate once button is pressed, and the finish chips easily. (None of this is a deal breaker for this light)
