Operation Instruction

ON/OFF
Tap the tail switch to momentarily turn on the light, release it the light goes out.
Fully press the tail switch to turn ON/OFF the light.

Output Selection
With the light on, single-click the side switch to cycle through Turbo→Low→Mid→High→Eco.

Strobe and SOS
With the light on, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to enter into Strobe mode.
Under Strobe mode, single-click the side switch to cycle through Strobe→SOS.
Then press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to turn back to General mode.

Intelligent Memory Circuit
The flashlight memorizes the last-used brightness level in the General mode, but not Strobe and SOS. The next time you turn on the flashlight, it will activate the last brightness level you selected.

Over-heat Protection
The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when it is working at Turbo and High brightness level. When it works at Turbo for 3 minutes or at High for 30 minutes, the flashlight will automatically downshift to lower output to prevent the light from overheating. If the Turbo or High output is needed, please reset it again. The flashlight could be damaged or the normal service life would be shortened because of continuous use like this.

Low-voltage Warning Function
If low voltage is detected, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until to Eco brightness level. When this happens at Eco output mode, the flashlight blinks three times every five minutes to remind you to replace the battery. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will not turn off automatically and will work until the battery runs out completely.

Battery Replacement
Unscrew the tail cap to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, and then screw the tail cap.

Usage and Maintenance

  • Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
  • Fenix recommends using excellent quality battery. If the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the lamp could be damaged by electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
  • Unscrew the tail cap one-half turn or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
  • Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
  • Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts improves the lamp’s performance as dirty contacts may cause the lamp to flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:
Reason A: The batteries need replacing.
Solution: Replace batteries (Please confirm the correct installation of anode and cathode).
Reason B: The threads, PCB board contact or other contacts are dirty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

If the above methods don’t work, please refer to the warranty policy before contacting your authorized distributor.

Notice: The routine cleaning video can be watched and downloaded through Fenix official website, please log onto the service channel->“maintenance for light”.

Warning
The flashlight is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage to the user or others. Avoid shining the flashlight directly into anyone’s eyes.

Nice flashlight for everyday carry. Replacement for one I recently lost after 10 years. It is a bit larger than my PD 30 but also seems brighter with better controls. Can not say enough about Fenix USA though. Lightning fast shipping and exceptional customer service. Thank you!

I have been using my PD32 daily for a just over two years now. As a professional home inspector my flashlight is heavily used, and routinely abused. I run this bad boy on turbo and drain a battery almost everyday. This thing is great! Dropped from roofs, sunk in water, and run till it is too hot to touch. But she just keeps on going. Ive got a few scratches and dents but it still looks great. Now it has that battle worn look. I highly recommend Fenix lights if you need something that will work all day everyday. If this thing ever stops working I will update my review and purchase another Fenix light. There is simply nothing else like it.

Have two PD32s and I’m very impressed with both. The articulation on the beams is unreal. A super tight, bright spot beam and, around it, a very well-defined flood beam. The flood beam, however, is very articulated too, so much so that you can’t really tell the flashlight is on if your standing right outside of its flood beam border.

The modes are also well thought out. They allow for very controlled light right where you want it—accomplished by both the spot beam articulation and its distance. Flashlight companies always fudge on the distances their lights throw a beam, but, with these Fenixes, there’s no exaggeration!

The fidelity of the colors in the light beam is great, too.

The holster is quite nice, in my opinion. It’s not super durable, but I’m not going on a black op any time soon, so I don’t have to worry about it being the toughest of the tough.

So far soo good. The light is extremely bright, people who see it always comment about how bright this little torchlight is, so i am always advertising the brand. The torchlight goes everywhere with me as i carry it in my handbag, it really takes up no space at all.

This is a perfect high power light you could EDC and double as a weapon mounted light for a long gun. Slightly smaller than PD35 series. Works great with the Olight WM10 for quick detach work, throw in your bag or leave mounted. The light seems robust, could withstand a beating and the controls allow you to select and HOLD the light level via the side button and on/off through the tailcap. Annoying strobe mode is more suppressed in side switch settings. Several usable steps of light levels. I chose this over options from Streamlight, Olight, Surefire and the cheap brands.

My PD32 is probably 3-4 years old now. I’m a big fan of the PD32 as a handlebar mounted bike light because it uses the 18650 battery which has become the commodity sized battery (easy to find, easy to charge, easy to carry a spare on long rides) and it has the flash mode which is perfect for daytime commuting on rainy days in a busy city like San Francisco. Quality built to!

I’ve been buying Fenix lights since 80 lumens was considered very bright….
They make a great product for a great price and this light is no different. It is my “always on me” light and has never let me down.

GREAT flashlight. Was debating between the pd32 2016 and the pd35 tax, and I’m glad I went with the pd32 2016. With lumen about equally the same (at high lumen, 1000 and 900 is indistinguishable), the pd32 can tail stand, longer casting beam, and longer lasting battery life makes it a better choice.

Kudos for a light I prefer over the PD35 – didn’t think that would happen. Glad the low settings are getting lower. Evolve to a true moonlight mode and neutral white options and you’ll own the market – Fenix lights are the lights I trust the most. Thanks for the new PD32.

This is the 2016 900 lumin light. EDC goes with me everywhere. Bought two spare 18650 rechargeable 3500 mah batteries. This thing rules the darkest nights . Very useful light output settings. I just really love this light. I pack the spare battery in a Coleman match container for safe keeping. Reasonable battery life for a compact light.

This is one incredible light!!! I work very near water and in the dark 80 percent of the time. its been dropped, dunked repeatedly, used nearly every day for about a year without one single problem. Its clip keeps it securly wherevery you put it, mine is on my body armor on one of the m.o.l.l.e. equipment bands. Buy the rechargeable 123 battery’s and a charger at any local vapor cig shop and youll save a mint on battery costs as on high it will use a lot of battery power. I recommend TENRGY brand batteries and charger as it also comes with house and car cords for about $20. Buy a couple of sets of battery’s and always have spares charged . You will not be disappointed with this light.

This is my first Fenix light and I chose it over a Surefire Defender and I’m glad I did! the Fenix PD32 boasts 4 brightness modes, strobe, and SOS strobe. It also comes with an outstanding, durable pocket clip which I use everyday. This light is my EDC for work and defense. Turbo mode is extremely bright and throws a great concentrated beam. I’ve had this light for over a year and couldn’t be happier with it. I will be purchasing more Fenix lights.

I bought the PD32 for everyday carry and believe it is the finest flashlight I have seen for the output vs size. It is blinding bright when set on high (as I always carry it) and I get amazing battery life with this unit.

I am a pest control inspector and for all my inspections I have come to trust the Fenix brand of flashlights. I started with the PD30 then upgraded to the PD32- I absolutely love them both! It is compact, very bright, durable and dependable. I will never switch back to ordinary flashlights.
