Really nice light and great power levels. The beam spread pattern is similar to the pd35v2. I think that is excellent.

Additionally, to add a battery only the front portion of the light unscrews instead of both the rear and front unscrewing. I think this was an excellent engineering decision.

I just wish the tail switch could be momentairly pressed to change the light levels after the constant on press - like the LD02 and my old LD22.

It seems like you can only click the light momentarily to change light levels before the constant on. Meanwhile other lights allow the action either before or after the audible click for constant on.

Surprised that a tiny light can shine bright, and it is built on quality...Very pleased of the product.

Been using this light in LE for the past couple months. No complaints. I use a rechargeable NiMh battery. Battery life is exceptional and output is excellent. The only reason for 4 stars - the rubber push button exceeds the metal tail switch protectors...meaning it's unstable when trying to use like a candle, (a minor flaw in design). Overall though, excellent.
