The Fenix HL50 Headlamp steps in with 365 lumens in Burst mode using a CR123A battery or AA battery as backup (at reduced outputs and runtimes).  Neutral white light means superior definition and penetration in high-humidity environments.  Pop the lighting head out for handheld or keychain use with the always-ready HL50.

I found this headlamp to be really good for about the first year. It was very bright, the steps between levels made sense and was very useful. However, after it got knocked around a bit, not severely, just in/out of a pack, pocket or trunk, it sometimes does not come on. Even after it had been on 30 secs before. very frustrating. Currently trying to find a headlamp that has fully potted electronics.
