Got two of these for my LD12 flashlights. I love them! I hike the mountains often at night. Before, the light would allow me to see the trail easily so I wouldn't sprain my ankle, but my night vision was shot so I couldn't see much beyond the beam of my flashlight. Now with the red filters, I can still safely see the uneven trail but my night vision isn't destroyed. I can see into the woods around me while my LD12 illuminates the trail. So much nicer.
