I wanted a flashlight that shows me what’s way down the road ahead of where I’m going along with some light in the surrounding area close to me. The no see-ums that may jump in front on my path. This light for me does exactly what I want. And the fact that it has an additional section of batteries you can add for longevity. A really great option to have. This is the third flashlight I’ve purchased from Fenix for my usage. And they all do what I want for those situations. And I purchased flashlights for friends. An excellent business. My friend who is in law enforcement is the original influence to buy from Fenix.

I had the 2600 lumen model and it was my favorite flashlight ever…until the new model came out. Wow! Bright! I am so pleased with the ability the plug the entire battery cartridge in for charging. So much better. Thanks Fenix, I am a pleased customer.

JUST USE THE LOCKOUT FEATURE! I had it in my pickup and it turned on…. it got too hot to touch, all because I didn’t lock it!

I gave the new light to my bird guide in Nepal, who was very excited to have it. I would certainly buy this model again if I need it. It even helps bird photography during the day in dark forests.

Just perfect, it doesn’t get too hot like some say, it will not cause you any discomfort in using it.
Also I’m very happy they discontinued with the color lights (red/green/blue), they were useless and a waste of space.

If they continue upgrading it in this direction, it will stay perfect forever. Best flashlight I’ve had.

This thing is amazing! Seriously the strongest light Ive ever seen. If you cant illuminate your target, you can basically burn down everything in your way with this laser beam- which allows you to reach your origional goal.

I have the previous version of the TK75. While it’s “only” around 4,000 lumens, that’s still plenty to light up the hillside over 100 yards away. Within 30 or 40 yards, the light is bright enough to deter approaching wildlife. In 10-20 yards, it’s weapon-grade, capable of causing at least temporary blindness, even in daylight! The version I have includes some features that are missing on the 2018 TK75, specifically no green/red/blue LEDs including the strobe function using those colored LEDs. I regularly use the colored LEDs for night illumination, checking for wildlife. Coyotes are the big threat here but we also have everything from skunks to raccoons to mountain lions. The green and red are especially useful, and the blue worked beautifully for finding coolant leaks in a faulty refrigerator. (You can guess how I figured that one out!) Now if Fenix would only combine the feature sets of BOTH these powerhouses, THAT would truly be an awesome light. Even though the previous version has been surpassed in power, I still give it five stars for its extra features. My TK75 also came with a very nice quality holster. I don’t often use it but when hiking, that could come in very handy.

Great balance of throw and flood for practical use. Gave this light to my dad as a Fathers Day gift and am a bit jealous now. He lights up a canyon that is backed up to the rear yard and can literally see a half mile at a football field wide.

This is one powerful light. It is really great for remote wilderness camping. It has a long throw and lights up the area like daylight. The ability to recharge off of a USB is great, always having fresh batteries even though there is no electricity. The controls are very simple to use

I’ve been using my TK75 for a few weeks now and am ready to report. First, I previously reviewed a TK72R (4-stars; minor downgrade due to heat generation). I commented at that time that my perfect “large” flashlight would have slightly more focus and slightly more range. I could not be more pleased in both regards with this TK75. While it does not allow me to see a wide area in front of me (such as if I were searching for something in my yard) but it definitely reaches out farther in a more focused way. I can now clearly see my dog at 150-ft as well as anything she might be involved with. And there is no appreciable heat-generation with the TK75. It’s a little big and not something I’ll pack in my overnight bag for a short trip but it’s definitely my “go-to” light for any night work around my country property. It would benefit (IMHO) with a belt holster of some kind. It would be tricky to make something convenient for a light of this size but someone should try…

Finally, there are several sources that supply Fenix and it could matter where you go. I give full marks to the folks at Fenix Lighting (kudos to Scott Shrum).

Insanely bright light! I think i giggled when i turned on this light to full power the first time. I am still impressed every time i use it! Fit and finish are flawless. No rattles! The only con is their is no external charging port not enough to take a star away. Totally satisfied!
