The Fenix TK47UE Tactical Duty Flashlight, with its long range illumination, is designed with the security and law-enforcement professional in mind. Fitted with a Cree XHP70 LED, resulting in a beam of almost 1339 feet (408m). The TK47UE Tactical Duty flashlight also includes a multi-funtional tail light that features a red light for signaling and a soft lantern light for duties such as report writing. This independently controlled tail light has four modes including a low-lumen white or red light for reading and a red Flash/SOS. The white LED provides better color rendering allowing for quicker identification of objects. We believe you’ll find this light to be perfect for security and law-enforcement professionals’ daily activities.  NOTE: The light will not work with flat-top 18650s.  We recommend any of the ARB-L18 series from Fenix.

The light worked well for a few months of very light use but now it wont stay on. It turns on but after a few seconds it shuts off on its own. It also shuts off when I use the strobe mode. Hopefully its only the tail switch. I have 3 other Fenix lights with zero problems and im purchasing another soon. I think this is just a one off thing. Expected to happen when you sell so many lights. Still like my Fenix lights.

Hi Ryan – it’s my understanding that you are already working with warranty on this.

I’ve been running this light for just under a year now. It has an amazing beam with great throw. The illuminated tail cap gives a soft, diffused white light, as well as a steady and flashing red. Tail cap and main light are controlled individually. I’ve kept it in both fire apparatus and at home when I walk the dog. It’s a great all-around light. Except one thing. Now this may not be a big deal to some, but this is where I feel it lacks. The button on the side of the body is pretty slim lined. I find it almost impossible to use while using gloves. the buttons smooth texture makes passing over it with bare hands easy, and I find myself fumbling to turn it on. I’ve since used a dremel to rough up the button, which has helped a bit. I’d like to see a more defined button, be it texture or on a raised surface. But the controls aside, it’s a solid light that has served me well.

    To whom it concerns:

I purchased the 3200 Fenix Flashlight bundle; my concern and complaint is your method of advertising the bundle is very misleading. The bundle shows two battries when in actuality there is only one. The irony is that the flashlight will not operate with one battery. So why advertise in this manner and then once your order is placed not aware that the bundle that clearly shows two batteries is only one; someone then calls you and sells you the second battery needed for $21.00 dollars extra. I will not do business with a company that use such tactics again. The money is not the issue I would have paid for the additional battery had it been included in the price of the bundle. When my fellow LEO ask where I got the light from I will not respond; I’m seriously thinking of returning the light and or give it away.

Just bought this. It is very bright and works as designed but it does not have the long range capability of 400 meters as advertised on a clear dark night using 18650 3500 mAh Fenix rechargeable batteries. My TK47UE has an extremely wide flood that will not allow a long range spot. I think it’s the Cree XHP70 LED. I own many Fenix lights from the LD12, TK11, PD35s, etc. I bought this one hoping to really illuminate a human subject past 200 yards and beyond and this does not do that well for such a bright light.. Im sure if it could have a narrower beam it would do that but its a flood light or at least the one I have is. I may have to try the TK47 with the Cree XHP35. This was my first disappointment in 8 years with a Fenix Torch.
