This flashlight was recommended to me by a good engineer friend. He tells me about all of the best products in relation to price and I tend to dote on all of my mega awesome technology to people I know.

This flashlight worked beautifully for the first several months that I owned it then it started losing contact. I cleaned the connectors with alcohol once which worked for a few weeks and then it started losing contact again. The second time the alcohol did not work so I used a stronger chemical that my company makes which will clean just about anything electronic or resin-related almost immediately. That killed the flashlight so I ended up throwing it out. I am hesitating to purchase another E05 even though they’re really convenient, tough and ultra-bright.

Note: I have a Fenix E25UE which I also love, use at work and secure to my Camelbak for strobe running at night. If I forget to lock out that flashlight, it will turn on by itself and cook so I have to be careful. I would highly encourage anyone who buys these to use strictly rechargeable batteries. The lowest setting on these flashlights work better than a standard flashlight in my opinion and I usually find any setting higher than that is too bright. I have been blinded by the light reflections on metal.
