I wasn’t really looking for everyday carry knife but I saw another enthusiastic product review from Charlie on “Not Thursday”. My initial turn on to Fenix products was Charlie….flashlight??…turn on???….sorry! Anyway, I decided to order this knife and gave it a try. For $20.00 this is a good bargain. Solid construction, built to last, doesn’t break the bank, and it’s a good entry point into the EDC knife world. The initial point for me was the ambidextrous thumb guides for opening. I’m a leftie and with the knife being ambi it makes opening less awkward. Good quality at a good price point.

I wanted a larger folding knife for tougher jobs than my Harbor Freight Gordon folder can handle. The Batidora feels heavy, sturdy, and operates smoothly. I can flick it out using the thumb stud and a little wrist snap.

The only criticism I can come up with is a little play in the friction mechanism which is a little odd and hard to describe, but can only be noticed when moving the blade to open or close, and Does Not affect the performance of the knife.
