I love my PD01. it is my go to flashlight for backpacking since i can attach it to my cap for hiking at night, and the battery will last a very long time on low. I can also bump it up to medium or high if i need to see better for setting up camp or cooking. 1 full battery will easily last a full weekend, and its much lighter than any other headlamp.

Output from a single AAA battery is excellent, but the twist switch is awkward to use: it always comes on in the brightest mode - not so good if you need to be discrete; and you need to twist it several times to get the intensity you want.

Own this light about 2 years. Wear daily in my milti-tool belt pouch. Don't think I could live without either tool- constant uses daily.
