I've been using this light as my everyday carry light for around 2 years now. Although I have various other lights of the same brand and others, the PD20 is by far my favorite. It is compact to carry everyday, year round no matter what style of clothing I'm wearing. I carry it for work, play, hiking, fishing, when I fly, and around the house. I've found the battery life is great and the brightness is perfect for whatever I need it for. For the money, size and functionality, the PD20 is a perfect light.

Great every day carry light. I've carried it every where, even when flying and in other countries. Yes there are brighter lights but with its small size and bright strobe I love it! Save the bigger lights for your pack and put this one in your pocket.

I purchased my PD20 some 5 years ago I think and it lives in my pocket every day at every hour (unless I don't have pants on, then it's waiting nearby). It's the best body shell design of all my EDC lights making it the most easy and convenient to carry. Perhaps not the brightest flashlight on the market these days, it still blows away anything on supermarket shelves and at a fraction of the size! Carry it Every Day.

I do hope Fenix releases this exact flashlight again in future production runs, except with a high-CRI emitter and compatible with both CR123A primary and RCR123A rechargeable batteries. The PD20 doesn't like the higher voltage of RCR123A batteries -- the only downside of this light.
